That first month of chaos in Mexico also opened my eyes to the spiritual community that is rife with self-proclaimed shamans, gurus, medicine men, women and advocates for plant medicine. Some of whom proclaim that their interpretation is the only way to achieve a higher plane of consciousness and connection.
The market for plant medicine has been saturated by a misconception of people taking weekend trips to Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru and the like to visit and immerse themselves with tribes exploring different modalities, then flying back home the same weekend and continuing their life as before. Is this the right journey for you?
This is the most honest and open perspective I can give. I am speaking from my own personal experiences as both a teacher and a student, channelled messages of the information which comes through me to you and beyond.
At this point in my journey, I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. I wanted to know if plant medicine could help. Could it change the way I was? Could it open up healing for me?
