I have a dream of a world where we live free.
Free of anger, hate, fear and judgement, free of rejection or abandonment. Free of limitations and programming, free of societal norms on what ‘success’ looks like. Rather than material possessions or appearances, the world I dream of is a world built on love, trust, harmony and peace.
A world where we feel safe.
Safe to express, safe to be in our full expression, safe to move freely within the world.
I have a dream of a world where there is no conflict, whether it be within self, with our family or neighbour, with the world at large.
I have a dream where we all feel safe to love. Safe to speak of love, safe to feel love.
This is my dream.
This is the dream of others, this is the dream of many.
There is a light for this dream, and it grows stronger, it grows everyday.
If we can dream of peace, have an idea of peace, then it is possible for it to become our reality.
Every thought can become reality.
We can understand the idea of our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. And if we are seeing and experiencing conflict, then as a whole there must be conflict within. This conflict is escalated by the busyness of the modern world that sees us in a constant state of distraction. We are distracted by the things we place around us to give us a sense of safety. These things come in the form of our possessions, our phones, social media and the news or tv. These distractions keep us busy. We aspire to have this western world dream of the big house and yard, the feeling of accomplishment and yet all we are doing is building walls up, building this fortress of possessions around us to protect us and keep us from forming true connection. In this sense of achievement we have lost our way of the simple pleasures and moments. Constantly looking for the latest gadget or toy to distract us from being with ourselves.
How can we bear to face our self if these walls of stuff are keeping us from even having the time to see our own state of being?
Rather than peace, we search for constant distraction. Our distractions can also be seen as addictions, a form of escape, a way of not being free as we are addicted to something that has been spooned in a global way of distracting us from the truth.
I feel that every human being has the capacity for change, for immense love, for kindness towards humanity. It’s just that we have been so conditioned as a society to place distractions on our path we feel completely lost, barren or bored unless we have them at our fingertips.
If you are not at war with yourself, you have no need for distraction.
You have no need for addictions. You have no fear in seeing yourself or your place in the world. You create change. You stand up for causes and for those with no voice. You see your purpose as greater than your own validation by ownership or property or wealth or the false sense of comfort that it all brings.
What is distraction? And why is it so easy to control another through the means of distraction?
Anything that can get you addicted is going to provide distraction where you’re not paying attention to what we’re doing and more focused on what you need to keep your addiction alive. Like anything, it’s all about your intention. Are you using your addiction to get a dopamine hit, to escape, to numb or avoid? Are you using it to heal or connect to consciousness or are you using it to relieve yourself of being present?
An addiction could be to your social standing, to what your garage holds, to the clothes you wear, to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, to the modern conveniences at our fingertips.
Can you step back from your addiction and see your intention for using it? Honestly look at what you would consider something that is a habit for you, something you unconsciously use as a pattern whether it is alcohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, shopping, coffee, sugar, food, social media. Addictions can also be going to the gym, over-exercising, addicted to tracking your weight, your food, any unhealthy patterns of behaviour that you use to distract yourself or keep you in a loop of expectations of how you should be.
Addictions are distractions.
Addictions are brought about by the need to self-soothe, to comfort ourselves, to numb or ignore our feelings or what is reality.
It’s why they controlled tobacco, it’s why they control pharmaceuticals, it’s why they have made marijuana illegal, anything that is natural and healing and returns to you to a calm and loving state must be replaced with a synthetic manmade product - its all about money, power and control. Why alcohol is so readily available - it’s a distraction which keeps you in a perpetual loop. Anything that creates peace, harmony, love, they don’t want it. If you are kept in a state of agitation and fear - you are easier to control. You fear being left behind, of not fitting in, you are agitated until you get your next hit.
Think about how our addictions are controlled. We here in Australia have a huge sporting culture for example. This is supported by the mainstream media, and promoted heavily. Attached to this is the culture of drinking and gambling. They want you to be focused on consuming these things together, you are pliable and susceptible to more advertising when in this state of emotion and your inhibitions lessened when attached to your team you support.
You then the next day, feeling less than great, need some sort of product to help you through, a painkiller, a recovery drink - get the one that is supported by your team. It’s a cycle that is repeated with every sporting occasion. The companies and businesses attached to these are big. Big companies that profit from keeping you distracted.
If we look at the war of distraction happening now, the conflict the world is experiencing, the fear, anger and hate that is being spouted not only by fellow humans, this story is being pushed by governments, absolute inhumane resistance to coming to a ceasefire, why? Because war is big business. Without war, governments have no reason to spend millions of dollars on defence, funds that could be better spent on healthcare, the aging population, on cleaning up our environment, on improving education or sustainable practices. War is driven by greed.
When we compare the history of war versus the history of peace, our humanity has only had momentary rests in conflict. It has been a long, long time since peace has reigned. The energy and name of peace has taken a beating. Forever it has been seen as folly, as the desire of sub and counterculture, not possible. Peace has been shamed as a fools wish. Whereas war has been seen as the normal state of being by the media and governments. War is big business.
The battle is not between different evils, the battle lies within you. You have been taught not to trust peace. It’s wilful hippies spouting nonsense. The whole world has been taught that war is natural, that peace isn’t natural. Think about that. You have been led to believe that peace is unnatural, frivolous. That war is a natural part of life. War is profitable.
Every war starts within in self.
If you are at war with yourself, you are at war with everyone. Your neighbour, different race, different colour, different creed, different sex, different religion, different sexual orientation. You’ve been told that you always must be at war with someone or something. There must always be an enemy.
The energy of peace has been easy to manipulate by these governments and media. The thought of peace to those who triumph during times of war, big business, politicians and governments, has been seen as almost defamatory. Deals are made, money is made, new collaborations or connections are made through wartime so we’ve been taught to fear peace, to not trust peace.
In the past it’s been brought to light through people who are creators, musicians, artists, those connected to nature, ‘hippies’, connected to a higher power and so its been discarded as laughable energy because of those within society who have protested, spoken out or tried in vain to stop war.
And now, those who speak out about peace or ceasefire, never before in history has it occurred where they are shunned or cancelled. Right now we have a culture of cancelling those who speak of peace. This is crazy that those who ask for peace have their whole careers wiped by those in big business as a means to silence.
A return to peace means that we are one.
One humanity, one world, one heart. Without enemy.
Within peace we are in cycle with the seasons, with Mother Nature, we are looking after the planet, we are caring for this world that we are on. This is something to be taken seriously, not something to be discounted as some fluffy rhetoric, asking for free love.
It’s fantastic when you think of it how much they have manipulated the energy of peace into something laughable. Those of foolhardy hearts that bring this vision to the table.
Big business and corporations have succeeded in financing these wars for centuries so they see the profits. Loss of life is just part and parcel of it. They don’t care about humanity. They don’t want us to have autonomy or peace, because if we have this, they loose business. They loose their source of income, they loose their control over you. And without control, they cease to exist.
When we are all autonomous in our own peaceful way of living, and live in harmony, free from modern distractions there is no reason for big business to succeed or exist. There’s no reason for governments with military operations spending billions of dollars to succeed. They would rather pour their money onto financing war than looking after the natural environment that is a return to nature and a simpler or more harmonic way of living.
Peace creates a balance of life and harmony but it doesn’t create profit. It puts the power back into the hands of the people living on the land. They don’t want the power back with the people. They don’t want us to be in harmony. But we have never had this much of a veil pulled back before In regard to peace and war. We have never before had our eyes so wide as to the atrocities. There is nowhere for them to hide, when your mind, your body, your heart, your soul is open to change.
Peace is healing, peace the energy is calming, it stills our nervous system, it creates love. We are healthy when we have peace.
This is why creators are so needed right now. As creators we have the opportunity to show up, to open our direct channels to consciousness to bring about this world we dream of. To document it, to share our words, our visions, to share our love.
Any creator will tell you of how they were woken with inspiration, they just got a hit, they didn’t write it, it came through them, when we choose the life of creation, we are surrendering to a will greater than our own. We do not own the art, we are merely the channel for this expression. We make the music of the time we are in. We express through our creation our fears, our hopes, our songs of the heart.
This energy of creation can be seen as flow state, seen as no conscious thought, it is when we see ourselves as merely the instrument for creativity. It is a pulse of energy, a metronome of timing, the flow of breath. It is the awareness of emotion, and seeing each emotion in balance, each emotion a colour in the palette. Which emotion to draw on for that which you are creating? The colour and movement of each emotion transcribed by word, by stroke of brush, the colour and movement of the song and tune. Each emotion forming this unique colour of expression. So for creation, it is a recognition of your particular muse of emotion, connecting to the colour and then creating from this energy, a free flowing automatic process that happens with creatives. We see, hear, feel in colour.
The current state and our energy of emotions has created a battlefield in where we do not feel safe to express ourselves. Free thought has become a lost art.
Artists, writers, musicians are so needed because they initiate free thought. And if a piece of writing, music or art challenges you, that’s something to be super curious about. If a piece a music creates emotion for you, if a piece of art creates emotion from you, that is something to be curious about. Art, writing, music are all so closely intertwined. We are interwoven as creators, the troubadours of consciousness. The creatives channel higher states of consciousness. Our inspiration, our muse is connection to the creativity and conscious stream of energy that is unique to our souls’ expression. The universe is in harmony with the players of creation. When we are in play, we create.
Raise your voices, your brushes, your instruments, raise them to peace and allow your love to flow freely. We can and will change the world.
And without distractions, we find our peace. Without distractions, we become one once more.
This war shall be won by love, the love of unbound hearts shall free us all.
